Passionate Event Organizers

Jolene Kriska

Meet Jolene, an event organizer whose passion for the arts transformed her into a catalyst for local creativity. She is the driving force behind the Screen Week and Expo, an innovative event that showcases local artists and filmmakers. Jolene's transition from plummer to orchestrating this artistic celebration marks a significant shift in her career, fueled by her deep commitment to nurturing local talent.

Celeste Pinder

Introducing Celeste Pinder, a member of Sk film industry, past President of Local IATSE 295 and a film representative on the SMPIA Board. Celeste's 20 year film & theatre career can only be complemented by her exceptional skills as a freelance designer, sewing instructor and costumer, where she brings characters to life with clarity, professionalism, and creative precision.

Jessica Gares


Jessica Gares, a dynamic film and theatre maker from Treaty 4 Territory (Regina), has traversed the globe honing her craft. Her journey began at Vancouver Film School's Acting for Film and Television Program in 2011/2012, followed by professional training and auditions in Toronto. Jessica's passion then led her to London, UK, where she co-founded the Odds and Ends Theatre Company, delving into fringe theatre production.
